Eastover’s Parent Teacher Association

Eastover’s PTA has one of the most active memberships in Mecklenburg County. It supports the school community by fostering a healthy relationship between families, teachers and staff, by cultivating community partners, and by organizing a variety of activities for prospective, new and current families. The Eastover PTA raises money each year to support school-wide initiatives, including chess education for all students in grades K through 5, an Academic Support Team with two certified teachers providing enrichment learning, and funds to provide books, technology, supplies and services that keep the level of instruction and enrichment at Eastover top-notch. The PTA also provides support and appreciation for all of the staff at Eastover throughout the year.

PTA Membership

Eastover is proud to have a large, active PTA with over 350 members. Our hope is that all parents and staff of Eastover Elementary become members of this organization. You can be involved in committees that provide academic enrichment, fundraising, special events, administrative services, marketing, and after school programs. There are many volunteer opportunities at Eastover Elementary.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join the PTA. $10 per person / $15 per family. Joining the PTA supports Eastover and the local, state, and national PTA organization. The PTA invests in the future of all children and promotes partnerships between schools and parents. Join here.
